Macro Friendly Crunch Wrap Supreme

Ever find yourself craving something from Taco Bell, but don’t want to waste a ton of macros on something not so filling? We have just the recipe for you! Our macro friendly crunch wrap supremes are only 314 k/cal with 30 grams of protein, 24 grams of carbs, and 10 grams of fat. This recipe will make four servings, so you can save them for your lunches throughout the week or share them with your family!

Ingredients

4 Chicken Breasts 

1 tsp Taco Seasoning

1 can Non Stick Spray

1 can Non-Fat Refried Beans

3 Bell Peppers

4 Wholly Guacamole Cups

1 cup Shredded Taco Cheese

4 Joseph’s Lavash Bread Flax Seed Wraps

Hot Sauce/Taco Sauce(opt.)

 

To start, cut your chicken breast into strips. Throw the chicken into a bowl and add some seasoning. We love to use Flavor God’s Taco Tuesday seasoning. The Flavor God seasonings are great because they are zero calorie, low sodium, and tastes amazing. After you’ve done that, place the chicken into the fridge for a few minutes while you chop up some peppers. We used three, but we figure whatever is left over can be used later in our meal prep. Chop up your desired amount of bell pepper, then go grab the chicken and get ready to cook. 

Spray skillet with non-stick spray and then put the stove on a medium-high heat. We love the Pam Butter flavored spray(it’s zero calorie!). Then, add the chicken to skillet. Place a lid on top, and be sure to flip the chicken every 4 minutes. While the chicken is cooking, grab another skillet and add ⅓ cup water to the pan. Add peppers, cover and leave on a medium-low heat. Lastly, heat up your non-fat refried beans according to the can. After about 20 minutes your chicken breast should be done. Be sure to cut the chicken and make sure there is no pink. The peppers should take about 7 minutes. 

Grab your lavash bread and put ¼ of shredded cheese on the bottom and spread it around. Then, add one of your wholly guacamole cups, followed by ¼ cup of nonfat refried beans. Add 1 oz of peppers, your 4 oz of chicken, and wrap. We have found that it is easiest to wrap from corner to corner, as pictured below. You will then want to grab a skillet, spray it with your non-stick spray, and put your crunch wrap onto it. You will want something weighted to sit on top to help keep the edges in place while also adding a nice crispiness to your crunch wrap. Cook one side for about 20-45 seconds(depending on desired crispiness) and then flip the crunch wrap so you can brown the other side. Top with taco sauce or hot sauce of your choice and enjoy! 


This is a really easy recipe to modify! You can make it a breakfast wrap by exchanging the chicken for egg whites. You can also exchange the chicken for turkey or carne asada. Play with it and see what works for you!
